[ Kanji fixes his SFC to start recording, though he's doing a very sloppy job of that. Currently, he's hauling big rolls of cloth, textiles, boxes and sewing kits into his room. He stares at them for a good long while before he finally addresses the network. ]

So...

[ Pause. ]

Puppets. You -- you guys like puppets, right? I mean, puppets like this;

[ And Kanji switches the feed to video momentarily, showing an oven mitten turned into a hand puppet. It was a puppy wearing a small beret and a coat, and all of that was frighteningly detailed! He switches it back to voice. ]

'Cuz before I came here, I promised somebody that I'd make a class for people who liked what I do and wanted to do it too. [ He smiles. ] There ain't no reason why I can't keep that promise here, so as of today, Kanji Tatsumi is officially accepting students for the first ever -- no wait, second ever Oven Mitt Puppet Class 101!

[ He sounds a lot more confident in himself. The process was slow, but he was getting there. ]
